Each fall, the London InterCommunity Health Centre participates in Community Health and Wellbeing Month, a province-wide campaign led by the Alliance for Healthier Communities. The campaign highlights the value of community and the impact of Health Centres across Ontario.
In past years, we have celebrated through produce giveaways, educational resources, and onsite activities. In 2025, we brought activities directly into the community by hosting events in local parks. These gatherings featured health information on topics like fall prevention, vaccines, and oral health, as well as activity stations, giveaways, and opportunities for community members to share their ideas about future programming.
We are grateful to our staff, volunteers, and community partners—including the North East London Community Engagement (NELCE) group—for helping to create meaningful events that promote wellness, connection, and strong community involvement.
