Hepatitis C is a virus that affects the liver and can cause serious illness over time. Early testing, diagnosis, and treatment are essential. Our program is built to serve people who face increased barriers to care and is focused on supporting clients through every step of the journey.
The Hepatitis C Care Team is a partnership between the London InterCommunity Health Centre and Regional HIV/AIDS Connection, offering free hepatitis C testing, treatment, and support for individuals at all stages of the disease.
We prioritize care for:
- People who use drugs (current or past)
- People with experience in the correctional system
- People who are homeless or under-housed
- Indigenous individuals
- Street-involved youth
Our integrated team includes:
- Nurses
- Social worker
- Outreach workers
