This gentle and welcoming program is designed to support the well-being of older adults through movement, connection, and community.
Each session begins with coffee and social time, followed by a guided introduction to Tai Chi led by a certified volunteer instructor from the Canadian Tai Chi Academy.
Participants will learn the first few movements of Tai Chi — an exercise of turning and stretching that supports:
- Flexibility
- Strength
- Balance
- Overall wellness
This is a low-barrier, inclusive program that encourages community connection while supporting physical health in a relaxed environment.
“Laura is a wonderful instructor. This is good for balance, stretching, brain memory, and socializing.”
